For this week’s #FisicoFriday, I wanted to incorporate a little piece of me and included my ukulele. I learned how to play the ukulele in Guam, where I was born and raised for much of my life, and I have been playing for seven years. I felt like the instrument goes perfectly with my outfit, which is more laid-back and dressed-down.
This outfit was designed around the pants. I really like the cropped pants style, especially with the weather becoming warmer because it accentuates the no-sock look. However, to prevent having the uncomfortable feeling of wearing shoes bare-foot, I added a pair of Taft’s no-show socks. Their socks are great to have, especially since shorts are coming back out and so are the boat shoes and loafers. The next item I chose was the pink shirt, which was to add a bright and fun color to the outfit. I decided to roll up my sleeves and added the bracelet and the watch to have a more casual look, though the bracelet and the watch can also be used with formal wear. The floral tie and the mustache tie bar, courtesy of Harrison Blake Apparel, completed the outfit. The floral design is perfect for the spring, especially with the trees blooming, and the mustache tie bar added to the playful theme of the outfit. This post features a variety of brands.
