The days before New York Fashion Week were anxiety-provoking. Being my first NYFW to attend, I did not know what to expect. In addition, the shows were at the same time as class, so juggling school and blogging was a struggle. However, it all worked out, and I definitely am looking forward to NYFW: Men’s coming up next!
For this show, I got a front-row seat, which was a great experience. His SS16 line had an overall simplistic theme with recurring pops of colors and patterns. The show was held at Shop Studios, which was a very cozy area for the fashion show. Here are some photos of the runway show and the presentation afterwards:
At the end of the show, I met Taye Hansberry of Stuff She Likes and Chris Collie of Fashions Guy NY. Both were a pleasure to meet. Thanks to Chris Collie for giving me some shows to attend in his place!
Daniel Silverstain put on a great show and I look forward to seeing more of his work in the near future. Stay tuned for my second NYFW post of 4 which highlights the next show that I went to – Rhie SS16!
